New York - RedDot Solutions, a leading provider of online content management solutions, today announced that Cinergy Corp., one of the nation's leading diversified energy companies, has implemented the first of a multi-phase roll-out of RedDot's Content Management Server (CMS) Professional. Using RedDot CMS, Cinergy's online content contributors will now control the posting of new and revised content to the company's 3,000 page Web site.

"As a leading provider of energy to 1.5 million customers in portions of three Midwest states, it's critical for Cinergy employees to quickly and easily add or modify online content to our corporate and four customer Web sites (www.cinergy.com)," explained Mark Craft, manager of new media and corporate communications for Cinergy. "RedDot's Content Management Server allows Cinergy to put content in the hands of the content owners with an easy-to-use interface that requires very little training."
According to Craft, Cinergy sought a content management provider whose solution offered a user-friendly interface, reliable workflow, quick implementation and overall value. "We expect a significant time savings and increase in productivity in updating Web content," he added.

Cinergy serves 1.5 million electric customers in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, and 500,000 gas customers, primarily in Ohio. The company strongly relies on its Web sites to communicate timely, targeted and accurate information to its various constituents: residential and commercial customers, employees, investors and other key stakeholders.

"As a nationally recognized leader in the energy industry, Cinergy continually provides updated information about its company, products and services on its targeted Web sites," said Detlef Kamps, president of RedDot Solutions. "RedDot's Content Management Server ensures that Cinergy's content contributors have control over the accuracy of the content and timing of when it is posted."
