Most Commonly Used Features of Content Management Tested and Compared within RedDot CMS Professional 4.5 and Microsoft CMS 2002

The analysis was conducted on both the usability and technology of each product. The InterDoc team tested the following most commonly used features of a CMS in the Web content management lifecycle; installation and configuration, administration, template editing, content editing, multilingual support, workflow, version control, deployment and pricing.

"According to InterDoc's comparative analysis of RedDot and Microsoft's CMS products, RedDot scored higher than Microsoft for every feature that was tested," said Niels Metger, CEO of RedDot Solutions. In conclusion, a comparative table ranked each aforementioned feature for both products resulting from the testing and comparisons of RedDot's CMS Professional 4.5 and Microsoft's CMS 2002. RedDot outscored Microsoft 39 to 24 out of a possible total score of 45.
