4 May 2004

With linkage between RedDot Content Management Server and Cumulus, customers are offered best-of-breed approach for leveraging the value of their content and digital assets

New York, NY - Canto, a global leader in Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions, today announced its partnership with RedDot Solutions, a leading provider of Web- and enterprise content management (ECM) solutions. The basis of the cooperation is the integration of Canto's DAM solution, Cumulus, with RedDot's Content Management Server (CMS). The combined solution is mainly targeted at mid-sized organizations with large amounts of multimedia files and will help them manage and publish all content efficiently and with improved structure. Additionally, the system offers the ability to assign rights to all media files and all workflows can be displayed and linked if needed.
RedDot CMS is a standard software solution that is quick to implement and also easy to use without training. Canto's Cumulus offers extensive management capabilities of all media files and related information, including images and image rights. Both companies are market leaders with thousands of customers and registered users. This has attributed to their success throughout Europe and the US.
"Integrating Cumulus now enables customers to whom Asset Management is a vital issue, to employ our CMS," commented Niels Metger, CEO and founder of RedDot on the partnership. "We are pleased to broaden our range of offered solutions with Canto's outstanding application."

"Organizations that need to manage and publish their content and vast amounts of assets efficiently now have a robust and yet flexible solution with the RedDot CMS and Cumulus combination," added Jennifer Neumann, Canto's CEO. "The demand among our customers for a Content Management System that is compatible with Cumulus has been growing globally. Now, this partnership allows us to meet their needs."

The extension enabling the connection of RedDot CMS and Cumulus will be available free of charge in Q2. For details on availability and usage information you can contact pr@canto.com.
