RedDot Launches CMS 6.5 and LiveServer 2.3

(NASDAQ: HUMC, TSX: HUM), today announced the general availability of new versions of its Web Content Management Software, RedDot CMS 6.5, and content delivery and application integration software, LiveServer™ 2.3.
CMS and LiveServer allow business users to share, reuse and control the delivery of content, serving relevant content to targeted audiences. The new features and functionality in CMS 6.5 and LiveServer 2.3 were developed to extend usability, deliver more relevant content, and make site administration more flexible.
RedDot CMS 6.5 and LiveServer 2.3 feature significant enhancements: New, seamless integration of RedDot CMS and LiveServer adds contextual content delivery features to RedDot's easy-to-use content management system (CMS). Online marketing campaigns and other personalization projects can now be directly driven from the RedDot CMS interface and published to LiveServer using new point and click interfaces. The interface allows business users to choose content, select market segments with drop down menus and determine exactly how that content should be delivered. Using these simple interfaces, marketers can define and adjust audience profiles and messages in parallel with their communication goals without any IT support.
RedDot's CMS 6.5 provides integration to Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, allowing organizations to securely publish documents from disparate Microsoft SharePoint Portal implementations on Intranets, Extranets and Web sites. Adding to the current capabilities of multi-lingual site translation, CMS 6.5 also includes an out-of-the-box integration with TRADOS Term Management for automated translation for multi-lingual sites.
TRADOS learns and recognizes specific organizational and industry terms, phrases and descriptions to maintain consistent meaning across every language variant of a site. RedDot LiveServer 2.3 features faster, more advanced search; a retrieval query can now be simultaneously implemented across multiple projects, including multi-lingual sites, delivering more comprehensive search results.
RedDot LiveServer 2.3 features a secure environment for administrators to build blogs, forums and other facilities to capture and display visitor comments. "Wiki" technology can easily be incorporated to enrich visitor participation and bring added interactivity to the site.
RedDot, Now Even More User-Centric
With RedDot's improved SmartEdit™, content contributors and other business users can create and edit content using Microsoft Word and save changes directly to CMS, eliminating the need for any CMS training. A new Mozilla Firefox user interface allows RedDot CMS users to work on any platform supported by the open-source browser, including Macintosh, Linux and Unix based systems.
RedDot CMS Asset Manager™ now provides a window for users to preview multiple images edits, including: resizing, cropping rotation, and adding color to an image. Administrators can now easily reuse and export specific pages or an entire branch of a Web site, allowing content and styles to be shared across projects incorporating Intranets, Extranets, Web sites, email, newsletters, and direct mail campaigns. This maintains brand consistency and empowers marketers to launch new sites faster. Power users can open multiple and simultaneous RedDot CMS sessions. Each secure session allows the user to simultaneously edit, navigate and approve content. Users with two-monitor workstations will find this feature especially useful and be able to float between browser windows on each screen. RedDot offers concurrent licensing to avoid any dilemmas caused with traditional seat pricing for simultaneous sessions.
